A fake Twitter user in North Dakota claims to be a North Dakota State University student who is the president of the North Dakota Student Association.
He also claims to have a Twitter account, but the account has been suspended, and no tweets have been posted in its name.
The account @WTFNDSU is a parody account that was created in July.
Its fake Twitter handle is @[email protected], which stands for the North Dakotas Student Association, the account’s creators said in a tweet on Tuesday.
The user claims to represent the university’s student body, which is led by members of the university community.
He was suspended from Twitter last week for violating the company’s rules against impersonating a student.
The account’s account also has a message that says “We are a student organization, not a university.”
The account is set up as a parody of @WTCUT.
But, its Twitter handle was suspended in August for impersonating @WtfNTU, which has over 100,000 followers.
A university spokesperson said on Tuesday that the university did not have a reason for suspending the account.
“We will not comment on specific accounts,” university spokesperson Alex Poynter said.
