The last game of the FIFA World Cup will be played in front of a packed stadium at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, with the final between France and Germany set to kick off around 7:30pm (AEDT) on Sunday.

Australia, the US, China and Japan are all due to host their own games in the coming days.
The host nation will be announced on Friday, but it will not be the final.
The Rose the next day will be revealed, with a total capacity of around 70,000, though that will likely fall to around 40,000 by the time the US is crowned as the champion.
A few days before the final, the IOC will release its provisional results for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, and the final of the 2017 World Cup, which will be hosted by Australia.
There will be a pre-match ceremony and medal ceremony at the stadium.
The final of each World Cup is usually watched live in a special section of the stadium where fans can be handed a free ticket to the game, which has become the world’s most watched sporting event.
But despite a record-shattering attendance of around 78.3 million fans in 2019, the Rose was not shown live.
The US and the host nations announced on Thursday that the Rose will be shown live in the stadium for the first time in history.
It will be the first Rose in US history, and it is expected that there will be some minor delays at the gates as fans are required to bring their own tickets.
The match will be streamed on ESPN, Fox Soccer and Fox Deportes.
Fox Soccer is a Fox News channel that is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, and was launched by Rupert after the company acquired Sky.
Fox Deporte is a Spanish-language Spanish- and English-language broadcaster owned by Univision.
The event is expected not to take place in the Rose but in the same stadium, which is the same venue in 2022 as the final played in 2018.
It is expected the stadium will be filled with a crowd of up to 200,000 fans, and that the first few rows will be packed with American fans and Canadians.
However, there are some concerns over security at the event as some security personnel have reportedly been seen wearing body armour, and there are reports of violence at some points.ABC/AP
